藤間 蘭黃（ふじま らんこう）

重要無形文化財「日本舞踊」総合指定保持者。
江戸時代から続く日本舞踊の家に生まれ5歳から祖母、藤間藤子（重要無形文化財保持者）、母蘭景より踊りの手ほどきを受ける。6歳で初舞台。16歳で藤間流名取となり、長唄、能楽、囃子、茶道の研鑽も積む。曽祖母や祖母から伝わる古典の継承とともに、ゲーテの「ファウスト」を一人で演じる『禍神』、オペラ「セビリアの理髪師」の舞台を江戸に移した『徒用心』など創作作品も積極的に発表している。
2015年には世界ダンサー、ファルフ・ルジマトフ、ロシアの国立バレエ団の芸術監督、岩田守弘との『信長』を世界初演。国内外の公演活動を精力的に行いながら、初心者から師範まで幅広く指導している。2015年芸術選奨文部科学大臣賞。2016年文化庁文化交流使として10ケ国14都市で公演、ワークショップ、レクチャーなどの活動を行う。2019年度日本芸術院賞、2020年紫綬褒章。五耀會同人。

Rankoh Fujima

He is the successor to the Fujima Family, which has been located at “Daichi” since it was awarded during the Edo period. When he was five, he started learning Nihonbuyo dance from his grandmother, Fujiko Fujima (Important Intangible Cultural Heritage) and his mother Rankei Fujima. He has devoted himself to passing on the classical works handed down by the Daichi School for many generations and popularizing Japan traditional dance "Nihon Buyo", and has guided many students ranging from beginners to masters at the same time as he has given many public performances. He is a member of the Nihon Buyo Goyokai. He studied Nagauta music under the head of the school, the late Shojiro Kineya VI, Komparu school Noh under the late Nobutaka Komparu, and tea ceremony of the Urasenke school under Sokujitsuan. He also studied Hayashi (musical accompaniment) under the late Seiko Tosha, and his stage name is Kiyoshi Tosha. His creative works have been highly praised and the success of the work, “Nobunaga”, that he presented in 2015, earned him the Sixty-sixth Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology’s Art Encouragement Prize. “Japan Cultural Envoy FY2016” for the Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan.
